Hello summer…

Well just like that its June! My last post was in April so there is a good bit to update y’all on. . .

The wonderful Corrinn Jusell and her sweet pup Toggy came to my rescue this spring to help get my kiln up and running. We took out all the old elements and rewired so she is firing up like a pro now.

Spring classes were a fun time, and I have been working on some new items like the yummy candles that I brought out to my show at proclamation just a few weeks back. I also started a button club for myself and a few of my more fiber focused friends - if you are interested in joining please reach out. We have a mix of weaver, crochet & knit makers creating ceramic buttons and we have been meeting about once a month or so to play with clay. (sliding scale, $15-$25 per session)

I have attended a few concerts, community events, and protests these past few months and balanced that out with a visit to the newly reopened Yagi Noodles where I tried this amazing mochi rice crispy.

I have also been seeing someone new and he is pretty special, shout out to my guy Ollie! While we first met years ago working at the Aquidneck Farmers market, we recently reconnected, and I’m so happy about it! He is so sweet and thoughtful. Not only that, he is a talented musician and chef, who is involved in a great podcast (the only podcast that matters) and is so great at making the best picnics and playlists.

Event season is really kicking off, and I have been a part of some pretty lovely folks’ special moments lately, with many more to come. This year, the Keanes calendar is strong through October, but I have added some workshop dates to the calendar for July and into the fall, so sign yourselves up or leave a comment below telling me what projects you want to come take a workshop for!
